Our Commitment To Privacy Your privacy is important to us. To better protect your privacy we (the N.C. Center for Nonprofits and OpenConsult) provide this notice explaining our online information practices and the choices you can make about the way your information is collected and used. To make this notice easy to find, we make it available on our homepage and at every point where personally identifiable information is requested. The Information We Collect: This notice applies to all information collected on the North Carolina Nonprofit Jobs & More website. On some pages, you can order services, post a résumé, post a job, make requests, or register to receive materials. The types of personal information collected on these pages are:
Address Email address Phone number Credit/Debit Card Information The Way We Use Information: We use the information you provide about yourself only to complete the transaction. We do not share this information with outside parties except to the extent necessary to complete the transaction. We use return email addresses to answer the email we receive. Such addresses are not used for any other purpose and are not shared with outside parties. Finally, we never use or share the personally identifiable information provided to us online in ways unrelated to the ones described above without providing you an opportunity to opt-out or otherwise prohibit such unrelated uses. Résumés Since North Carolina Nonprofit Jobs & More is a career site, we give you the option of putting your resume in our database. There are two ways of doing this:
It is our intention that only paying customers or prospective customers will have access to the résumé database, but we cannot guarantee that other parties will not, without our consent, gain access to this database. You may remove your résumé from our searchable database at any time. However, employers who have paid for access to the database, and other parties who have otherwise gained access to the database, may have retained a copy of your résumé. We are not responsible for the retention, use, or privacy of résumés in these instances, or for the use or privacy of résumés by any of such parties while résumés are in the database. Our Commitment To Data Security To prevent unauthorized access, maintain data accuracy, and ensure the correct use of information, we have put in place appropriate physical, electronic, and managerial procedures to safeguard and secure the information we collect online. For additional security, credit card information is not stored on our web site.
